Veazie Beginnings: Veazie Post Office opens on June 23, 1890.

On June 23, 1890, Veazie Post Office opens. John Russell is the first postmaster. The post office closes on July 28, 1892. Veazie is located 30 miles southeast of Seattle 4.5 miles northeast of Enumclaw and was on the Northern Pacific and Milwaukee Railroad lines.
