Cedar Mountain Post Office opens on January 21, 1888.

On January 21, 1888, the Cedar Mountain Post Office opens. Lawrence J. Coleman is the first postmaster. Mail is distributed from a store.

The post office closed on January 15, 1907. Cedar Mountain is located 17 miles southeast of Seattle seven miles east-southeast of Renton and was situated along the Milwaukee Railroad line.
